The uniqueness of Olympic medals is their universal importance. They are the dream, not only for the athletes who dedicate their lives to training in order to win them , but also a collective dream of nations. Medals are also desirable because they present universal values such as endurance, perseverance, equality and much more.
For 65 years, the Museum of Sport and Tourism has been collecting memorabilia related to the Olympic Movement, presenting its legacy and achievements. We hope that presented catalogue is going to be a small contribution to the scientific research on the history of Olympism.
